FATHER’S DAY:  Fathers play an important role in the lives of families.  Luther’s Small Catechism was meant to be used in the homes:  “As the head of the family should teach it in a simple way to his household.”  We wish God’s blessings to all fathers today and may He watch over you and your families today and always.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS & SUNDAY SCHOOL:  Please note there will be an Adult Bible Class in between the services this morning.  The Adult Bible Class will then take a break for the summer and return to its regular schedule in September.  The Sunday School has already stopped for the summer but will also resume its regular schedule starting in September.

GRIEF SEMINAR:  First Lutheran Church in Kingsville would like to invite you to a Grief Seminar:  “The Broken Heart – Finding Hope in Your Grief.”  The final seminar of the two-part series will take place this Monday, June 19th (It’s Complicated – When the Work Gets Too Hard), from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  We kindly ask you to contact our church office if you would like to attend, or if you would like additional information.

LWMLC EVENT:  The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League-Canada is hosting a women’s event for all women of Lutheran Church–Canada.  The Ontario District event will take place at Peace Lutheran Church in Tillsonburg this Saturday, June 24th beginning at 8:30 a.m.  This is a day of Bible studies, devotions, songs, and service projects.  Schedules and registration forms can be obtained by contacting the church office (the registration deadline is tomorrow).  The cost for the day is $20 which will include all materials, lunch and snacks.  Please contact the church office if you would like to attend, as we may be able to help arrange carpooling.
