LUTHERAN HOUR:  “Birth Pains” (Mark 13:  1-37) – A message by Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler.  Listen to the Lutheran Hour on Sundays at 560AM (WRDT) at noon.  Streaming audio and pod-casts at www.lutheranhour.ca.

A NEW CHURCH YEAR begins next Sunday, December 2, with the First Sunday in Advent.  Once again we start following the footsteps of Jesus, beginning with the predictions of His coming.  We will also move to the so-called “One-Year Lectionary,” a system of weekly Bible readings listed in the front of the Lutheran Service Book, Pages xx-xxi.

VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY NEXT SUNDAY, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.  It’s an important meeting, involving also budget plans (for our church and academy), election of officers, and reports on our building and insurance claims.  Set the time aside … and join us!

ATTENTION ALL LADIES:  Mark your calendars!  The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League-Canada Christmas gathering will take place on Monday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m.  Please join us as we discover who our Prayer Partners were for this past year, and we will choose new Prayer Partners for the upcoming year.  Please also bring a small dessert to be shared with the others during fellowship.  We hope to see you there!
