WE’RE SO GLAD TO SEE YOU, especially you who have joined us today as guests and visitors from outside our church family!  We have a guest-book in the vestibule you’re welcome to sign to remind us of your visit.  If you need anything while you are here, do not hesitate to ask one of our ushers.  And come again soon, especially if you have no other “church home” here in our area.

Sunday, August 11, 2019:  German Service, 32; English Service, 75; TOTAL, 107

(Ushers Today) – James Krestick, Francisco Moro, Mike Gagnier, Chris Anderson

(Ushers Next Sunday) – Todd Sands, Ben Eberhard, Evan Johnson

CHURCH OFFICE IS OPEN ALL THIS WEEK, Monday through Friday, because of the ongoing appointments for our 100th Anniversary photo directory.  Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SERVING TODAY:   We’re glad to have Pastor Torgerson back from Europe, and he is conducting both services here today.  Pastor Bugbee meanwhile is preaching this morning at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Chatham, which remains without a pastor.  He is, however, in the office as usual starting again on Tuesday.

PHOTO SESSIONS FOR OUR NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY will begin tomorrow.  We’re glad to report that virtually all the appointments have been filled, and we’ll be in touch with a telephone reminder for everyone who has an appointment.  For anyone who does not yet have an appointment, we’re going to add some sessions in October.  So far participation in our 100th Anniversary photo directory is shaping up really nicely!

WE RETURN TO OUR REGULAR SUNDAY SCHEDULE in three weeks on Sunday, September 8.  German Service remains at 8:45 a.m., while English shifts back to 11:00 a.m.  In between, of course, we’ve got Sunday School and Adult Bible Class at 9:45.  Just a reminder!

WE SHARE THE AIR:  Scented products have chemicals that may trigger serious health reactions in people with asthma, migraines, allergies or chemical sensitivities.  To minimize the impact to our members, friends and visitors, we respectfully ask that all of us either avoid or reduce the use of scented products when attending or visiting our church.  We thank you for your understanding and help.
